Started listening but had to turn off through cringing st his lies.
Full of bullshit to sell a book.
Broke into morgue and stole his brother. Hustling for a £1000 at 13. It was so obvious he was lying just like the Eric hall interview a few weeks ago.

The interview in the Sun the other week was a proper eye opener... him and Kirk Stevens together sounded a nightmare... never left their room for days on end doing Crack... broke up all the hotel bedroom furniture and started a fire in the room to light their rock of crack!!

zico, not sure if you heard the interview but they asked him who he hated playing against and davis was the one. though now mates, back when davis was at his best he didn't give fuck all away and he found him hard to play against
he rated ronnie as the most talented ever and alex higgins the player he enjoyed playing most

Know how Jimmy felt, I lost 5 mixed doubles pool finals!! Mind you mine was with three different partners!!
Loved watching Jimmy White, definitely the best player ever not to win the Worlds. Very unlucky that in Davis and Hendry he was up against players who just knew how to win tactically and at their best both rarely missed. Unfortunately Jimmy did miss. Was it a blue or something he missed at something like 17-13 up against Hendry. If it goes in he wins but he misses and Hendry rolls several frames on the trot.

Reardon is the oldest champion - 45 years old - doubt if White has it in him. One of the greatest players to watch though - even now.

Makes me sad when I hear him say that. Reminds me of a former great footballer sliding down the leagues because he doesn't want to pack it in.
Love the bloke though- if he managed to somehow win one it would be the greatest sporting fairytale of all time.

Bloke I knew used to drive for him 20 odd years ago, always said how he was bang on the coke at the time.
Love the fact he still harbours the dream of being world champ and is convinced he still has it in him.

len, have you seen his itv sporting life story programme? it's brilliant and the bit that struck a chord with me was when he was talking about how he felt when playing and that he tried to entertain himself rather than worry about grinding out wins. a legend
